Manchester United has confirmed that Casemiro will leave the club at the end of the season upon the expiry of his contract. The Brazilian midfielder has enjoyed a four-year stint at Old Trafford, playing 146 games and scoring 21 goals.


Casemiro, a serial winner, quickly became a fan favorite due to his combative nature and ability to score crucial goals. He played a key role in Manchester United's 2023 Carabao Cup win, scoring a header against Newcastle United, and also won the Emirates FA Cup in 2024.

In a heartfelt statement, Casemiro expressed his gratitude to the club and its supporters, saying, "I will carry Manchester United with me throughout my entire life." He will be given a special farewell at the final home game of the season against Nottingham Forest .
