Daniel Msendami's transfer to Orlando Pirates could be the beginning of a great chapter for the winger, who was doubted by many just months ago. After a impressive AFCON finals debut for the Warriors, Msendami has caught the attention of one of South Africa's giants.

On Wednesday, Orlando Pirates confirmed the signing of Msendami and Mpho Chabatsane from Marumo Gallants ahead of the second half of the season. Msendami, 25, joined Gallants from Jwaneng Galaxy in Botswana in 2024 and has netted four goals in 49 appearances for the club. Chabatsane, 23, is a left-sided defender who can also feature at centre-back and has 34 appearances for Gallants this term.

Orlando Pirates expressed their excitement about the signings, saying, "The Buccaneers have reached an agreement with Marumo Gallants for the services of both players, with the transfers concluded on a permanent and immediate basis." The players will join the squad in camp, where they will prepare for the resumption of the Betway Premiership season .
