According to the State outline, Timba allegedly raped his employee at Tolrose Mine Kadoma sometime in October 2023.

The complainant is a security guard at the mine but had been deployed to do his house chores.

“… the complainant was employed as a security guard at Tolrose Mine Kadoma, where the accused Patterson Timba was the director.

“On the day in question, the complainant was deployed to the accused’s house to do household chores since the housemaid was not there.

“As the complainant was about to leave, the accused went on to switch off the lights, removed her jean skirt and pants,” reads the State papers.

Timba allegedly went on to rape the complainant.

The complainant did not tell anyone soon after the sexual abuse but confided in someone some two days later, although she did not get any help.

In September 2025, the complainant further revealed her sexual abuse to another person and was advised to file a report.

She then filed a police report and was referred to Kadoma General Hospital for medical examination. The medical report can be produced in court as evidence.
