From Tbose to Teacher

Cornet Mamabolo, aka the heartthrob from Skeem Saam, has traded drama for degrees! 

The former actor's now the director of his own show, Shandalea College, a thriving institution offering certified trade skills to young people especially those from marginalised communities.

Mamabolo's focus is on empowering youth through education and entrepreneurship, giving them the tools to succeed in the real world. 

Be that as it may, don't count him out of acting just yet, he's itching to return to TV with the right script. 

"I miss acting, but I'm waiting for something that'll make me want to leave my classroom," he says with a smile.

Building a college from scratch hasn't been easy, but Mamabolo's driven by a vision to change lives. 

"A proper trade certification can be a game-changer for young people," he explains.
