Hard Rock Football Club has bolstered its squad with the signing of Zimbabwean senior men's national team goalkeeper Martin Mapisa. Mapisa joins the Kwekwe side from MWOS FC, where he played a crucial role in the club's debut season.

The lanky goalkeeper is the second player from MWOS to join Hard Rock, following Nigel Matinha's departure from the Norton outfit. Mapisa's experience and quality will undoubtedly add depth to Hard Rock's goalkeeping position as they prepare for the Castle Lager Premier Soccer League (PSL).  Follow & Share Our WhatsApp Channel

The signing of Mapisa is part of Hard Rock's ambitious recruitment drive, which has seen them secure the services of former Dynamos and Highlanders coach Kevin Kaindu and Simba Bhora midfielder Donald Mudadi. These signings are a clear statement of intent by Hard Rock to compete with top-flight giants and avoid an immediate return to the lower league.

For MWOS FC, Mapisa's departure is a significant loss, following the departures of Abubakor Moffat to rivals Scottland FC and Nigel Matinha to Hard Rock FC. The club will need to regroup and find suitable replacements to maintain their ambitions.
