Stanbic Bank Zimbabwe has partnered with the National University of Science and Technology (NUST) to launch a five-year scholarship fund, supporting talented students from the Matabeleland region. The fund will cover full tuition, accommodation, meals, lab fees, and provide a laptop to five students annually, starting August 2026.
"The scholarship is a chance to change lives," said Tariro Memo, Stanbic Bank's head of brand and marketing. Priority will go to students with strong academic ability and genuine financial need, with three spots reserved for female students.
NUST's Vice Chancellor, Professor Mqhele Dlodlo, welcomed the partnership, citing a shared vision for education. "Stanbic Bank's investment in education is an investment in Zimbabwe's future," he said.
