Members of the United Apostolic Faith International Church gathered at Wadzanai in Shamva District to mourn their beloved member, Hazvinei Purumero, who succumbed to a severe illness after battling it for one month.
Born on February 10, 1980, Hazvinei Purumero passed away on March 9, 2026. She had been a dedicated member of the church for 20 years and faithfully served as a church board member after being appointed as the seventh deaconess in April 2025.
She is survived by her four children: three sons, Innocent Purumero, Alfred Purumero, and Elvis Purumero, and a daughter, Zvikomborero Purumero.
Speaking at the funeral, Archbishop O. Shonhiwa Garande expressed heartfelt condolences, saying, "I send my deepest condolences on the passing of our beloved church member, Deaconess Purumero. Our thoughts and prayers are with you during this difficult time."
The body of the late Hazvinei Purumero was laid to rest on Wednesday, March 11, 2026, in Wadzanai, Shamva District. On the same occasion, the church also witnessed the burial of another member, Eneres Goko, who had endured a prolonged illness.
The church community continues to pray for the families affected by these losses and stands united in their grief.
