Several high-profile Zimbabwean footballers, including Peter Ndlovu, Khama Billiat, Knowledge Musona, and Benjamin Mwaruwari, have returned home after successful careers in top leagues. These legends are now bringing their expertise to develop the local game.
Peter Ndlovu, a Zimbabwean great, is team manager at Scottland FC, while Willard Katsande is head coach of Rangers FC and serves on ZIFA's committee. Khama Billiat, a Sundowns legend, is playing for Scottland FC, and Knowledge Musona, the "Smiling Assassin", has joined him. Benjamin Mwaruwari, a former Premier League striker, is now head coach of Highlanders FC. Esrom Nyandoro, a former Sundowns star, is a talent scout for Kwekwe United and supports underprivileged kids.
Their return is expected to boost Zimbabwean football, with their experience and leadership skills.
