A social media post outlining why some men say they are no longer interested in dating has gained traction online, citing “games,” “confusion,” and “investing everything while getting nothing back” as key factors.

The post argues that “dating didn’t get harder. Men just got tired,” and lists five reasons for the shift in attitude.

First, it states: “Effort Is Expected, But Appreciation Is Rare.” It claims men are “told to chase, plan, pay, protect and still be blamed when things fail,” adding that “over time, effort without appreciation becomes exhaustion.”

Second, it says: “Modern Dating Feels Like a Competition, Not a Connection.” According to the post, “Many men feel they're being compared, tested, and replaced not chosen. When dating becomes a tryout, men simply stop showing up.”

Third, it cites a lack of “Emotional Safety.” It states: “Men open up once... and it's remembered forever or used against them later. So they choose silence over vulnerability.”

Fourth, it claims: “Standards Are Called Insecurity.” The post says, “When men set boundaries, they're labeled controlling or weak. So instead of arguing, they opt out.”

Fifth, it concludes: “Peace Became More Valuable Than Romance.” It adds: “Men discovered something powerful being alone is quieter than being constantly misunderstood.”

The post ends with the statement: “Men didn't stop wanting love. They stopped wanting confusion disguised as connection.” It further claims: “M3N are not interested in anything that has to do with relationships anymore since relationship has never benefited any man from the beginning,” and that “Relationship has always been some sort of upliftment to women and sources of survival to women.”
